Job Title: Assistant Station Leader

As an Assistant Station Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing, coordinating, and scheduling a fleet of drivers to meet airline schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and direct the work activity for a group of drivers to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and direction to drivers, including process improvement, team-building, coaching, and feedback.
  • Monitor spending to ensure expenses are consistent with approved budgets, managing payroll and fuel costs daily.
  • Recruit, interview, select, train, motivate, coach, and mentor transport drivers.
  • Conduct daily maintenance reviews of fleet vehicles, schedule maintenance, and communicate concerns to the Fleet Manager.
  • Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, leading station safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage local permits and vehicle registrations, communicating with finance for timely renewal.
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with airport ground transportation, attending meetings as required.
  • Complete required paperwork timely and adhere to company policies and protocols.
