PNC Financial Services Group is seeking a highly skilled Merchant Payment Senior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the profitability and growth of our Merchant Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business development teams in contract negotiations, request for proposal's (RFP's) and other proposals regarding pricing by analyzing merchant statements to determine competitive pricing.
  • Reviews contract specific pricing, financials, key business terms, and provide ad-hoc analysis for focus areas (e.g., new customer pricing, gain share arrangements, retentions/renewals, and the implementation of pricing strategies).
  • Gather and analyze market data, providing recommendations on pricing adjustments to maximize volume and profitability.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and pricing analysis on fee changes across segments.
  • Lead on interchange tracking from card issuing networks.
  • Maintain pricing models, plans and policies for use across the Issuer business segment, strategic analysis to identify actionable opportunities and risks.
  • Analyze and validate sub-agent commission information; coordinate and prepare commission reports and issue payments.

Requirements:

  • University / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • Certifications are often desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
