About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at Saxon Global. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and developing strategies to prevent fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze effectiveness of fraud strategies and recognize new fraud trends and opportunities through the manipulation and comprehension of large amounts of multifaceted data.
  • Collaborate with business partners to build business requirements for new tools and product features to implement changes to better detect and prevent fraud.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models and algorithms to identify potential fraud patterns.
  • Present data and analysis to business partners in operations, risk and LOB.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in SQL, R, and Python programming languages.
  • Experience working with large and verbose data sets across a wide range of subject matter areas.
  • Comfortable working with new data sets and data that doesn't have great data dictionaries.
  • Banking and fraud experience strongly preferred.
