Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize hardware designs
  • Utilize CFD models and ANSYS simulation software to verify hardware designs and predict thermal performance
  • Perform thermal analysis on various load cases to assess design performance
  • Develop and maintain complex CFD models and simulations
  • Document analysis results and provide recommendations to project teams
  • Coordinate and perform validation tests with the reliability team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of CFD and thermal analysis principles
  • Experience with ANSYS CFD tools, including Workbench, Fluent, SpaceClaim, and Icepak
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Multiphysics simulation experience with ANSYS
  • Experience with electronics reliability and automotive industry
  • Experience with thermal testing

Aurora Innovation offers a competitive salary range of $141,000-$211,000 per year, as well as an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
