Job Title: Associate Attorney - Family Law

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in family law to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our family law practice, you will work closely with our clients to provide expert guidance and support in navigating complex family law matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client matters with a high degree of professionalism and care, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective case management strategies, practice management, and business development initiatives.
  • Represent clients in courtroom appearances, negotiations, and mediations, demonstrating exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in family law, including changes to statutes and procedural rules, to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Exhibit creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Texas family law, with a proven track record of success in courtroom litigation, negotiation, and mediation.
  • Strong understanding of the Texas Family Code and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to utilize technology to meet the demands of the legal marketplace, including proficiency in case management software and other relevant tools.
