About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our in-house counsel practice, you will be responsible for handling insurance defense cases from inception to resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload independently and proactively move files from answer to trial in an insurance defense environment.
  • Provide superior customer service while working with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Insurance Defense experience desired, preferably with 1st or 2nd chair trial experience.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas and membership in good standing with the bar.
  • Law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
