Job Summary:

The McLean County Unit District No. 5 is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Mental Health Trainer Task Force. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in delivering mental health training to our staff, focusing on the signs and symptoms of suicidal behavior and staff response.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend a comprehensive Training of Trainers to prepare trainers for delivering the training program.
  • Deliver district-wide training on signs and symptoms of suicidal behavior, non-suicidal self-injury, and staff response to address board policy 7.290.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to ensure successful implementation of the training program.

Requirements:

  • Representations from all levels (early learning, elementary, junior high school, and high school)
  • School Psychologists
  • School Social Workers
  • School Counselors
  • Nurses
  • Family Coordinators
  • Home Interventionists
  • LBS-1
  • Other Certified Staff with relevant experience and knowledge of SEL, mental health

Compensation:

A stipend per hourly rate for curriculum work per contractual agreement, with a maximum of 20 hours per task force member.
