Job Summary

As a Medication Aide at Cascadia Senior Living, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to assist with the administration of medications and provide exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with the self-administration of routine medications of various forms.
• Maintain accurate records of medications and treatments administered or omitted on each resident's clinical record.
• Follow the activities of daily living for each individual's care plan.
• Report changes and observations of residents' needs and preferences.
• Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, as well as lift, move, and transport residents.
• Document care provided to residents.
• Follow standard precautions and safe work practices.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current WA State CNA/HCA license in good standing.
• Applicants with nurse delegation a plus.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current First Aid and CPR card.
• Maintain current Food Handlers card.
• Pass a Criminal Background and fingerprint check.
