About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at Wendy's. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of restaurant staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Responsibilities

  • Execute company policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
  • Solve customer complaints quickly and professionally, providing a positive experience for our guests.
  • Maintain fast, accurate service and meet and/or exceed both company and customer expectations.
  • Anticipate and identify problems, taking corrective action to prevent issues from arising.
  • Provide feedback to team members in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures and safe working practices.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
  • Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance.
  • Balance cash at the end of the shift and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks and report maintenance and training needs.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Must have a great personality, desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • One year of restaurant experience at a minimum in QSR or Fast-Casual environment preferred.
  • Willingness to work on your feet and lift 35 pounds to waist level.
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices (Servsafe certification is a plus).
  • A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism.
  • High stress tolerance and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willing to work normal schedule of 40 hours per week (including nights, weekends, and some holidays) and stay over if needed.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Must have a great personality, desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a team.
