About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Analytics Leader to join our team at Origin Digital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining our go-to-market offerings and building a team that is responsible for data strategy and governance, data science, data engineering, and delivering insight-driven advanced analytics dashboards and reports to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of guiding large data transformations and advanced analytics implementations, with expertise in data strategy and governance, data science, data engineering, and delivering insight-driven advanced analytics dashboards and reports. You will be responsible for building the team needed to deliver the capabilities and guiding and mentoring the team to ensure they have the right skills to deliver high-impact services to our clients.

You will also be responsible for staying connected with certain named clients and ensuring client satisfaction for project outcomes by defining, applying, and measuring solution delivery quality. The role is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for engaging directly in client engagements and leading teams to deliver on the projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define a data strategy and guide clients on a roadmap to achieve success with data transformation projects, which include migrations, dashboards, Artificial Intelligence, and Application Modernization projects.
  • Lead and drive client conversations and arrive at the right solutions for client needs.
  • Develop and refine delivery models to optimize project delivery for the client.
  • Maintain active relationships with clients and continuously seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen relationships.
  • Implement processes to ensure a clear view of project financials and cost-to-completion projections and make the right decisions to ensure client satisfaction while maintaining project profitability.
Requirements
  • Expertise in data strategy and governance, data science, data engineering, and delivering insight-driven advanced analytics dashboards and reports.
  • Ability to define a data strategy and guide clients on a roadmap to achieve success with data transformation projects.
  • Ability to lead and drive client conversations and arrive at the right solutions for client needs.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft and Databricks platforms and how to leverage their capabilities to deliver on the project needs.
  • Firm understanding of P&L and how to manage a lean team model to ensure high profitability and investing in the right areas for growth.
