Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Law Enforcement Officer to join our team at the State of North Carolina. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol facilities to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Enforce laws and regulations, including motor vehicle laws and policies.
  • Respond to emergencies and take appropriate action.
  • Manage crime scenes and collect evidence.
  • Prepare incident reports and other documents as required.
  • Testify in court as needed.
  • Conduct searches for elopement.
  • Respond to and control violent and/or disruptive behaviors.
  • Respond to burglar alarms, fire alarms, and other emergency calls.
About the Role

This is a full-time day shift position, working 12-hour shifts and rotating weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in law enforcement and possess a valid NC Driver's License.

Requirements
  • High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma.
  • Must be at least 20 years of age.
  • Possession of a valid NC Driver's License.
