Community Relations Director

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Community Relations Director to join our Oregon Market team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in creating a person-focused and economically sustainable healthcare system.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community agencies, business forums, and associations to promote Cambia's mission and values.
  • Represent the office of the Plan President and steward priorities to meet expectations.
  • Serve as liaison between multiple cross-functional teams to drive market-level performance.
  • Share insights, trends, and community needs with stakeholders to inform opportunities among sales, government affairs, communications, and corporate philanthropy teams.
  • Engage with sales to accelerate growth plans for top accounts and key prospects.
  • Activate resources necessary to drive growth and reputation across the region, including relationships with key partner organizations, decision-makers, and participation on community/civic boards.
  • Develop, direct, and grow brand awareness, engagement, and reputation opportunities to establish unique partnerships in a way that is relational and collaborative among emerging markets and corporate stakeholders.
  • Ensure Regence has active participation and presence on community and industry boards.
  • Identify and provide oversight of social media strategy in partnership with Marketing and external communications.
  • Act as liaison to the company's foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility team to invest resources into nonprofit and community-based initiatives that further the transformation of healthcare and support the wellbeing of the communities we serve.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field with 12 years' experience in public policy, community relations, business development, or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience.
  • MBA or MHA preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and communicate effectively with a variety of groups and individuals at all levels of the organization, including formal presentations to Board members and the facilitation of strategy development and implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing, on detailed policies in a clear and concise manner.

Compensation:

The expected hiring range for a Community Relations Director is $145,350-196,650, depending on skills, experience, education, and training; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 20%.
