Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Outpatient Receptionist to join our team at San Antonio Behavioral Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and visitors, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Phone and In-Person Interactions: Respond to high-volume phone calls, greet patients and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a positive experience for all patients and visitors, providing routine information and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various clerical duties, including filing, faxing, and photocopying, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient flow.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare or administrative setting preferred.
