The role of the Food Service Runner is crucial in guaranteeing that every patron's meal is served swiftly and effectively. This position involves managing food orders, liaising with kitchen staff to ensure that each dish is ready and served in the correct sequence, and delivering the finished meals to guests in both the dining area and bar.

Availability for both daytime and nighttime shifts is preferred.

A valid Food Handlers Certification is mandatory for this role.

Please be aware that the establishment operates on all holidays, and holiday availability is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the setup and breakdown of food runner procedures
  • Completes designated side-work tasks (opening, closing, ongoing)
  • Adheres to all directives from the expeditor, head Chef, and/or Management Team
  • Organizes and sorts incoming food orders
  • Maintains accurate orders for each table and food ticket
  • Ensures that each meal is prepared according to the restaurant's and guest's specifications
  • Prepares and garnishes dishes for optimal presentation as required
  • Delivers each course promptly to the appropriate table in the correct order
  • Communicates any additional requests or needs from guests to the kitchen manager or expeditor
