At Ncspecialty, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure housekeeping supplies are stocked daily and according to established PAR levels
- Clean and maintain patient rooms, bathrooms, administrative offices, and other facility areas
- Perform terminal cleaning daily per hospital policy and procedure
- Demonstrate proper decontamination of clinical areas, equipment, and non-disposable supplies
- Recommend revisions to policies and procedures as needed
- Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly environment
- Follow safety and infection control requirements
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year experience in Environmental Services and/or housekeeping in an ambulatory/surgical setting required
Physical Requirements:
- Bending, sitting, squatting, crawling, reaching, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for long periods of time, pushing and pulling with an exertion of up to 50 lbs
