Job Title: Environmental Services Technician

At Ncspecialty, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assure housekeeping supplies are stocked daily and according to established PAR levels
  • Clean and maintain patient rooms, bathrooms, administrative offices, and other facility areas
  • Perform terminal cleaning daily per hospital policy and procedure
  • Demonstrate proper decontamination of clinical areas, equipment, and non-disposable supplies
  • Recommend revisions to policies and procedures as needed
  • Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly environment
  • Follow safety and infection control requirements
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1 year experience in Environmental Services and/or housekeeping in an ambulatory/surgical setting required

Physical Requirements:

  • Bending, sitting, squatting, crawling, reaching, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Stand for long periods of time, pushing and pulling with an exertion of up to 50 lbs
