Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:
The Retail Banking Specialist will operate within a branch setting, assisting clients with various banking transactions, whether at the Teller station, on the Platform, or via telephone communication.

Key duties include:

  • Facilitating the opening of various deposit accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit.
  • Processing applications for equity lines of credit and loans.
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues efficiently.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal abilities and excel in a collaborative environment, contributing to all facets of branch operations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 6 months of recent experience as a Retail Bank Teller.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a retail banking environment, focusing on new account setups and customer issue resolution.
  • Experience with conventional first mortgages is advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, including professionalism, proactive communication, and a friendly demeanor.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
