Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure timely release and movement of freight.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to U.S. Customs and other relevant parties in compliance with regulations.
- Identify and resolve issues that may impede the timely processing of shipments.
- Maintain strong relationships with brokers and service providers to meet customer expectations.
- Advise clients on payment terms and manage accounts receivable.
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records in computer systems.
- Support account management activities and perform entry reconciliation as required.
- Engage with clients and internal teams through various communication channels.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 12 months experience in brokerage, transportation, or customer service.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with office equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations.
Work Environment: This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with in-office responsibilities. Candidates should be adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
Shift: Evening shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime.
