At NorthBay Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nutrition care to our patients, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nutritional processes for individual patient care
- Make determinations regarding patient progress toward nutrition goals and utilize a professional relationship with patients and families to facilitate those goals
- Modify and deliver care specific to the needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients within the scope of service of the Nutrition Department
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Completion of Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)-approved or accredited internship with emphasis on clinical nutrition
- Currently Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- At least one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or completion of a CDR-accredited internship with an emphasis on clinical nutrition
