We are seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee our transportation fleet across multiple facilities. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on the success of Michael Holm and Associates.
Job OverviewThe Logistics Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation network, including planning, execution, and monitoring of logistics activities. If you have a proven track record in managing complex logistics operations and are passionate about delivering exceptional results, we want to hear from you.
About the RoleThis role involves overseeing the entire transportation process, from vehicle maintenance to route optimization. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Your expertise will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Manage and maintain a large fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and compliant with regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
- Analyze data to optimize routes, reduce fuel consumption, and improve overall supply chain performance
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a similar industry
- Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and improving operational efficiency
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance standards
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
