Job Description: 

Bluewater is seeking a Project Manager to drive the execution of critical projects and ensure operational efficiency across the organization. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating logistics, and working closely with internal teams, customers, and third-party contractors to facilitate seamless deal execution. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, experience in early-stage company environments, and the ability to collaborate across functions to achieve successful outcomes. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deal Execution and Project Management: Oversee the execution of deals and manage various projects, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party contractors to ensure smooth execution and logistics. 
  • Contract Bid and Proposal Management: Manage bid and contract proposals, including vendor negotiations, reviews, and final agreements. 
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Identify, document, and communicate project progress or roadblocks to all stakeholders. 
  • Scaling Operations: Support the development of standards and procedures, focusing on streamlining logistics, improving cross-functional communication, reducing freight cost, and developing partnerships with vendors, contractors, and consultants. 
  • Strategic Planning and Problem Solving: Plan and execute projects while ensuring they’re completed in a timely way, within their initial scope and budget. Design and implement creative solutions that drive business performance.  

 

Additional Responsibilities:  

  • Third-Party Contractor and Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate and manage relationships with third-party contractors and service providers to support business operations, ensuring quality service. Manage existing and qualify new vendors to expand the company’s capabilities. 
  • International Growth: Expand the company’s reach by engaging consultants, government entities, and outside stakeholders that improve its ability to transact deals internationally. 
  • Shipping Dangerous Goods: Continuously improve companywide standards and procedures surrounding shipping dangerous goods. Identify and mitigate risks associated with transporting batteries. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 2-5+ years of experience in project management, logistics, supply chain management or relevant field 
  • International freight forwarding or logistics exposure is preferred but not required 
  • Experience managing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Problem-solving skillset with the ability to work independently to get projects across the finish line 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and energy: proactive, self-starter attitude with the drive to take initiative and continuously improve processes. 
  • Adaptability: comfort in navigating changing priorities and handling the demands of a fast-paced, growing company. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
