Job Summary

The Eden Resort & Suites is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our resort's facilities. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent management and supervisory abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities department, ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Evaluate building systems and facilities to determine necessary repairs and maintenance, and develop schedules and project plans to address these needs.
  • Develop and implement facilities procedures and schedules to ensure that all work is completed correctly and on time.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost estimation for repair projects, and ensure that all expenses are properly documented and tracked.
  • Hire, train, and supervise facilities staff, and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure that all team members are meeting their job requirements.
  • Organize and oversee the schedules and work of facilities staff, and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct disciplinary actions and terminations as needed, in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Ability to plan and schedule facilities work, and to develop and implement procedures and schedules to ensure that all work is completed correctly and on time.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills, with the ability to hire, train, and supervise facilities staff.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time, and to perform repairs when needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
