About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Columbus Organization. As a Registered Nurse - Inpatient Mental Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay, including physical health, mental status, and risk factors.
  • Use standardized tools and clinical judgment to evaluate patients' psychiatric conditions.
  • Administer psychiatric medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for side effects, effectiveness, and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, such as individual counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention techniques, to help patients manage symptoms, develop coping skills, and achieve treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to develop individualized care plans for patients.
  • Coordinate care across different departments and services to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing from an Accredited University
  • NC nursing license active, current and in good standing
