- Quality Assurance: Represent the customer to ensure that quality expectations are clearly understood and met.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing departments to provide quality engineering and inspection support.
- Project Leadership: Provide leadership to technical teams responsible for the successful launch of multiple complex programs.
- Project Coordination: Oversee the coordination and on-time completion of all quality projects.
- Quality Planning: Develop and implement advanced product quality planning (APQP) and related documentation.
- Process Improvement: Identify trends or shifts in production measurement data through oversight of the inspection team.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: Required experience in the medical device/life science industry.
- Education: 4-year engineering, technical, or management degree.
- Experience: 3 or more years of experience in product design or program/product management, and understanding of tight manufacturing tolerances.
- Technical Skills: Must be able to read blueprints and other technical documents, and have knowledge of ANSI/ISO drawing standards and GD&T dimensioning.
- Quality Tools: Must have knowledge of quality inspection tools and methods, and experience/knowledge in statistical analysis, SPC, and validation/PPAP.
