Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Feeding and Sensory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Progress Speech and Language Center. As a Pediatric Feeding and Sensory Specialist, you will work with children from birth to 18 years old, providing expert care and support to help them overcome feeding and sensory challenges.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, establishing, and implementing plans of care for children with fine motor, adaptive, sensory, and feeding development needs. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess children's fine motor, adaptive, sensory, and feeding development needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to address identified needs
  • Collaborate with the therapy team to provide comprehensive care and support to clients
  • Partner with families to provide opportunities for involvement in their child's therapy services
  • Stay up-to-date with evidence-based, functional therapy approaches to meet medical necessity
Requirements:
  • Valid and current California Occupational Therapy License (CBOT)
  • 1-5 years of previous pediatric therapy experience
  • Pediatric feeding and sensory integration specialties preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
