GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The State of Wyoming is on the lookout for a dedicated Psychological Services Analyst to join our team.

This role is essential in delivering psychological support to a diverse clientele, including individuals with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and various mental health issues.

The services provided may encompass adaptive cognitive evaluations and the development of positive behavior support strategies.

The successful candidate will collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team, provide training to staff on behavior support methodologies, document behavioral metrics, and actively participate in various teams and committees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are illustrative and not exhaustive of all duties that may be performed at this level.

Conduct behavioral assessments including adaptive testing and behavioral evaluations
Design and execute behavioral support strategies
Provide training to staff on behavior support methodologies, plans, and protocols
Gather, monitor, and analyze data to evaluate the success of training initiatives and client progress towards goals
Engage in crisis intervention as needed
Consult with clients' families and professionals regarding treatment options
Offer guidance to other agency personnel on effective programming techniques and problem resolution
Monitor clients and living environments to ensure program fidelity, effectiveness, and staff interactions
Participate as a committee member and engage in relevant committee and staff meetings

PREFERENCES:
Preference may be granted to candidates with experience in mental health.
KNOWLEDGE BASE:
Understanding of the principles, objectives, and aspirations of mental health counseling
Familiarity with techniques for administering and assessing psychological evaluations
Knowledge of research methodologies
Expertise in data collection and analysis
Proficiency in counseling and behavioral intervention techniques in both group and individual contexts
Awareness of psychological and behavioral disorders
Knowledge of various assessment and evaluation instruments
Understanding of professional ethical standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
A Master's Degree or higher

Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in the field of Psychology

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must possess or be eligible for licensure as a Behavior Analyst in the State of Wyoming or qualify for exemption under Wyoming Statute § PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical capability to lift, twist, bend, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.

FLSA STATUS:
Exempt
Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be conducted for safety-sensitive positions. Drug testing will be performed if reasonable suspicion arises.

A comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting, will be carried out through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, the Department of Family Services, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for all successful candidates.

A current Influenza Vaccination is mandatory.
