Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Greenwood Care Inc. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Lead group and individual therapy sessions, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and skill-building strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a caseload of up to 30 patients, prioritizing their needs and providing timely interventions.
  • Participate in regular clinical team meetings to discuss patient progress, share best practices, and address any challenges or concerns.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a human services-related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health services, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
