Forensic Psychologist

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a highly qualified Forensic Psychologist to provide essential services at our facility in Wyoming. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment.

As a Forensic Psychologist, you will play a vital role in conducting comprehensive forensic evaluations, including competency to stand trial assessments and criminal responsibility evaluations. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Performing court-ordered forensic evaluations as mandated by Wyoming statute.
• Preparing detailed forensic reports and providing expert testimony in legal proceedings.
• Conducting thorough risk assessments for individuals adjudicated not guilty by reason of insanity, as directed by the court.
• Assessing risks in civil cases and collaborating with other units within the facility.
• Supervising and training post-doctoral students and pre-doctoral interns.
• Providing clinical psychological evaluations for admission screening, treatment planning, diagnostic clarification, readiness for discharge, community placement, and guardianship.
• Diagnosing and treating a range of mental and emotional disorders.
• Utilizing individual, group, and family therapies, incorporating cognitive-behavioral treatment techniques.
• Administering and interpreting psychological tests to evaluate mental illness, intelligence, personality, and neuropsychological functioning.
