We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Greenwood Care Inc. As a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with chronic psychiatric disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough intake interviews to assess consumer needs and develop personalized service plans.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to implement and evaluate treatment plans, ensuring the highest level of care and support.
- Lead consumers in recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date consumer documentation, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Manage a caseload of up to 30 cases, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely interventions.
- Participate in regular clinical team meetings to share knowledge, best practices, and consumer progress.
- Master's degree in a human services-related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
- Significant experience in the mental health field, with a focus on long-term care and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
