Nurse Care Specialist

As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will provide skilled nursing care in medical-surgical units. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, collaborating with the Medical Surgical registered nurse team, and ensuring quality care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Monitor patient progress, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in condition promptly.
Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care instructions, medication management, and recovery expectations.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
Current RN license
BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
Two years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
Strong communication and adaptability skills.
