Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely perform nail trims, ear cleanings, tooth brushing, and gland expressions.
  • Interact with pet owners professionally, paying close attention to their requests and ensuring they are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Ensure a safe environment for pets by monitoring their behavior and responding proactively.
  • Manage your time effectively to meet scheduled appointments and provide high-quality service without direct supervision.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record, as you will be traveling to different locations to serve clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in grooming, bathing, or veterinarian technician services.
  • Understand that pets may be stressed and handle each situation with patience and empathy.
  • Follow customer instructions carefully, ensuring each pet is groomed according to their owner's preferences.
  • Recognize animal body language and behavior to ensure a safe experience for both pets and technicians.
  • Comfortable working alone while managing time and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Training & Development:

  • Complete a 24- to 30-hour in-store training program with a manager to ensure you are well-prepared.

Additional Job Details:

  • Full-time and part-time positions available. Overtime may be required as needed. No time off during the two weeks preceding Thanksgiving and Christmas.
