About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Loan Officer to join our rapidly expanding mortgage team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying and securing a mortgage loan that is appropriate for their individual financial circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with borrowers and brokers to originate high quality loan applications.
  • Reviewing and analyzing loan applications, using your attention to detail to ensure all necessary information is accurate and complete.
  • Navigating complex financial situations to provide the best loan solutions for our customers.
  • Working closely with the processing team to submit loan applications and follow up on their progress.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, particularly in a loan officer role.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with borrowers and brokers.
  • Ability to originate high quality loan applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand and navigate complex financial situations.
