Mortgage Loan Processor Role

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Processor to join their Mortgage division. As a key member of the team, you will work directly with homebuying customers to secure financing for their new home.

You will act as a liaison between the borrower, the sales team, and underwriting department to ensure a seamless home buying experience. Your excellent customer service skills and financial/loan processing background will enable you to provide a positive impact on the customers experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to home buyers, maintaining frequent communication and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Mortgage and Homebuilding staff throughout the loan process.
  • Manage multiple loan files, collect and record customer information, and ensure timely processing of mortgages.
  • Set up loan files, order exhibits, and follow up on submitted and pending loans.
  • Coordinate closing paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness of loan files prior to passing to the closing department.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience processing loans, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of real estate documentation, underwriting policies, compliance, and procedures, preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and strong oral and written communication skills.
