Position Overview
The Operations Manager is tasked with managing all aspects of the retail fuel and convenience store operations. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellence. Availability for shifts during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and operational procedures
  • Oversee daily activities of all store staff
  • Handle customer transactions efficiently
  • Provide outstanding customer service and address customer issues
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members
  • Schedule staff according to operational needs and budget constraints
  • Prepare and submit daily operational reports
  • Analyze financial reports to meet profit expectations
  • Gather and report fuel pricing data
  • Manage bank deposits and cash handling
  • Maintain inventory control for merchandise and fuel
  • Order supplies to ensure product availability
  • Establish and nurture vendor relationships
  • Resolve employee conflicts and grievances
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide necessary feedback
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational standards of the site
  • Submit and oversee maintenance requests
  • Implement health and safety regulations
  • Manage operations of the quick service restaurant (if applicable)
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and company policies
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in retail management or a related field
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Authorized to work in the United States with appropriate documentation
  • Proven work history with satisfactory references
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Flexibility to work varied hours
  • Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to lift 55+ lbs. and carry short distances
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and performing physical tasks
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment
