Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our culinary team, you will assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations while ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing mise-en-place prior to cooking: reviewing recipes, measuring ingredients, and organizing necessary tools.
- Handling and preparing fruits, vegetables, salads, and seafood in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of refrigerators, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensuring a hygienic and organized kitchen environment.
- Collecting supplies from storage in line with HACCP protocols and company policies.
- Performing additional related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP standards.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operations.
- Ability to foster effective working relationships with colleagues and guests.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Experience in a high-quality, high-volume culinary environment is advantageous.
