Project Supervisor Job Description

Lessen is a leading provider of real estate services, and we're seeking a skilled Project Supervisor to join our team. As a Project Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in administering, organizing, and managing construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Break down projects into separate work orders and set realistic timeframes.
  • Assign vendors to work orders and manage their progress, reassigning as necessary based on performance and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Ensure client needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Help scope projects and prepare budgets.
  • Analyze risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee project procurement management.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders.
  • Perform quality control checks during the project lifecycle and at completion.
  • Organize punch lists and recall/warranty items for proper repair or completion.
  • Track vendor capacity and assign projects accordingly.
  • Issue all necessary legal paperwork, including contracts and terms of agreement.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance control.
  • Ability to manage construction projects from a desk.
  • Good computer skills and ability to adapt to new software.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Supervisor, or similar role.
  • 1-2 years of experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
  • PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
