Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity Security Specialist to join our team at Optiv. This role is responsible for leading engagement delivery, providing exceptional value to customers, and developing pathways for future opportunities.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of governance and compliance, as well as excellent leadership skills. They will be responsible for maintaining mastery in a capability, leading a team of engineers, executing tasks, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a deep understanding of chief technologies.
  • Lead a team in developing workflows to solve complex issues efficiently.
  • Provide mentorship to Associate, Level I, and Level II Engineers.
  • Focus on corporate strategy, brand identity, and operations (5%).
  • Foster training and fine-tune skills (5%).
  • Manage team members and career development (10%).
  • Engage in engagement delivery (80%).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks outlined in the scope of work.
  • Lead discussions with clients to analyze their needs.
  • Aid Associate, Level I, and Level II Engineers on sophisticated tasking.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients.
  • Develop and lead technical support strategy for clients.
  • Serve as escalation level for complex issues.
  • Document project progress, issues, and resolutions.
Engagement Management
  • Monitor and approve timecards and expense reports.
  • Serve as mentorship level for Associate, Level I, and Level II Engineers.
  • Perform annual performance reviews and quarterly feedback sessions.
Sales and Client Engagement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Adhere to availability standards for responding to client inquiries.
  • Communicate technical concepts to clients.
Talent Development
  • Demonstrate proactive engagement in obtaining certifications.
  • Provide input to leadership on needed training and development.
  • Offer training opportunities to team members.
Strategy, Brand Leadership, and Operations
  • Contribute to thought leadership exercises about Optiv's services portfolio.
  • Oversee creation of new Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide senior leadership with areas of opportunity to expand Optiv's services portfolio.
Requirements
  • $120,000 - $180,000 per year ( salary range based on experience).
  • Top-Secret clearance - TS/SCI with a full-scope poly required.
  • Experience operating in classified environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or at least 8 years of related work experience.
  • Ping Identity Certified Professional/Expert for PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, PingOne.
  • Strong understanding of governance and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of leadership concepts and ideas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
