Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanic to join our Pasco AG Center team. As an AG Center Senior Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Twin City Foods' (TCF) harvest equipment at our Pasco AG Center or in the field during harvest.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as diagnose and repair pumps, valves, motors, hoses, and cylinders.
  2. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the Ag Center Manager and team members to ensure efficient and accurate repair and service work.
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain chronological records of service activity, including each service step, evaluation of system or component, parts request and installation, repairs, completions, and tests/certifications.
  4. Safety and Security: Observe and enforce safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of agricultural/harvest maintenance experience required.
  • Training in Gas and Diesel Engine and Power Transmission repair.
  • Training in Hydraulic Fluid Power.
  • Completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship program preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License.
  • First Aid and CPR certification a plus.
Work Environment:

The AG Center Senior Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines, and will be required to work long hours during processing season. The position will involve working in hot and humid weather conditions, and lifting heavy items up to 50lbs.
