Fire Alarm Technician Job Description

At Impact Fire Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and servicing fire alarm systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarm systems to identify and address any issues or defects
  • Collaborate with the Fire Alarm Manager to develop and implement effective fire alarm system maintenance plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to ensure the highest level of expertise
Requirements:
  • Applicable licensing and certification required by National, State, and Local codes
  • Experience installing, inspecting, and servicing fire alarm systems
  • Ability to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
