The Scarlet, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team and create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of culinary operations, including menu creation, food preparation, kitchen management, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and creativity.
- Lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings and kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of culinary leadership experience, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant setting.
- 5+ years of cooking experience, with a strong background in classical cuisine and menu development.
- College degree or certification in culinary arts or hospitality management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
