Kitchen Manager Job Description

Gecko Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a budget. You will also be in charge of hiring, training, and scheduling kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Develop and maintain a budget for kitchen operations
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes
  • Implement and monitor kitchen cleanliness and sanitation protocols
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent communication between the kitchen and dining areas
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
  • Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and maintaining food quality and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with front-of-house team
