Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the innovation and execution of solutions to meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement culinary strategies to ensure consistent standards and techniques are applied to the preparation and presentation of food items.
  • Manage and train kitchen employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Mentor employees to craft a shared understanding of what needs to be achieved and how it can be achieved.
  • Plan and implement daily huddles to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Complete and maintain all staff records, including training records, shift opening/closing checklists, and performance data.
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport to drive mutually advantageous business relationships.
  • Communicate on-site consumer and local competitor insights to inform culinary decisions.
  • Responsible for delivering food and labor targets while ensuring full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals.
  • Understand and implement the end-to-end supply chain and procurement process and systems to ensure only authorized suppliers are used.
  • Implement the Food Framework to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
  • Estimate accurate food consumption for requisitions and/or food purchases.
  • Ensure correct equipment operation and maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Aramark SAFE food, occupational, and environmental safety policies in all culinary and kitchen operations.
  • Follow all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, including those relating to safety, health, wages, and hours.
Requirements
  • Requires at least 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Requires 0-2 years' experience in a management role.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Physical Demands

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
