Cash Support Job Summary

Cash Support is a critical role within EMSMC, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of payment batches, locating payment details, and monitoring daily cash flow. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payment Batch Preparation: Verify accuracy and scan bank receipts, communicate discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead, and ensure timely posting of payment batches.
  • Client Communication: Email payment details to clients, verify and tally scanned checks, and consolidate accurate barcode coversheets for payment batches.
  • Payment Research: Locate payment details for checks via online or phone, maintain logins for various websites, and communicate website/login issues.
  • Cash Flow Monitoring: Monitor and maintain payment batches for timely posting, retrieve Payments/EOB's from Document Management System, and research and notate accounts with proper payment details.
  • Professional Communication: Communicate with payors, staff, and clients as needed, respond to questions in a timely and professional manner, and conduct all job tasks with professionalism and respect.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Skills: Flexible in adapting to shifting daily priorities, ability to meet deadlines, and skilled at identifying relevant information from reports or other documents.
  • Experience: Capable of handling a large volume of work, consistently meeting or exceeding established productivity and quality standards, and possessing excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
