About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our team at Extra Space Storage. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals, and maintaining facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers
  • Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies
  • Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements
  • Maintain facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and changing light bulbs
  • Work independently on daily tasks and cooperate with team members
  • May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations
Requirements
  • 1+ year of customer-facing employment experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Sales experience
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Business acumen knowledge, including PnL
  • Current, valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in NYC)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
