Job Title: Access Supervisor

As an Access Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Patient Friendly Access initiative. This dynamic and patient-focused role requires a strong leader who can build and manage a high-performing team, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Patient Friendly Access staff to promote an optimal patient experience, customer service, and availability of medical services.
  • Investigate and resolve problems and conflicts using the appropriate help chain.
  • Advocate for patients and families while coordinating multi-visit scheduling appointments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers in obtaining access to Medical Services at UVA Health System.
  • Perform technical/clinical responsibilities in assigned work areas and assume responsibility for professional development of self and staff.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment conducive to professional development.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Associate's Degree Preferred.
  • 3 years relevant experience.
  • None required.
Physical Demands:

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: computer keyboard activity. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull.
