As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences in our appliances department. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide expert service and recommendations. To excel in this role, you will need to maintain expert-level knowledge of all products in the appliances category, including specifications, features, and benefits. Effective time management strategies will also be essential in optimizing daily tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in the appliances department to support the customer experience, complete transactions, drive profitable growth, and achieve sales goals.
  • Stay informed about the latest technology trends and products through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Prioritize activities based on urgency and importance, set realistic deadlines, and use tools and techniques to manage time effectively.
  • Maintain department merchandising and readiness to serve customers.
  • Train other sales floor personnel on how to be successful in the department.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience building complex solutions in sales, customer service, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of leadership experience in a related field or military leadership equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience selling in premium products, luxury brands, and/or custom design environments.
  • 1 year of experience in customer relationship management (CRM).
