Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Residential Advisor to join our team at Red Rock Job Corps Center. As a Residential Advisor, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and inclusive residential environment, fostering a sense of community, and providing guidance and support to our students.

Responsibilities
  • Student Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and role model to students, providing guidance on personal development, goal setting, and decision-making.
  • Community Building: Foster a sense of community within the residential area by organizing and promoting inclusive activities, events, and group discussions.
  • Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to handle and respond to any emergency or crisis situations within the residential community, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and interpersonal issues among students with empathy and professionalism.
  • Residential Policies: Enforce and uphold residential policies and procedures, ensuring a safe, clean, and respectful living environment for all students.
  • Life Skills Development: Assist students in developing essential life skills, including time management, budgeting, and effective communication.
