We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Market Development Representative to join our team at Sazerac Company. As a Market Development Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers in the on-premise industry, including bars, restaurants, and hotels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share for Sazerac brands in assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including owners, managers, and bartenders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with wholesalers and internal teams to support in-outlet selling and execution.
  • Plan and implement programs to deliver volume, distribution, and execution KPIs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the on-premise industry, including consumer trends and category insights.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience, or for new college graduates, a sales internship or full/part-time sales role (preferably in consumer goods).
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends).
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.
  • Willingness to Travel.
  • Must be able to obtain a relevant solicitor's permit in any state.
  • Candidate must reside in or near the territory.
  • Must be able to personally pay or charge ordinary and necessary business expenses that will be timely reimbursed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience.
  • Market development and sales analysis experience.
  • Strong ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results.
  • Experience building customer relationships.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35 pounds without assistance.
  • Ascend or descend stairs.
  • Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day.
  • Strong communication skills.
