Job Summary

Hyatt House Pleasanton is seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team. As a liaison between the sales department and front desk, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and follow-up
  • Identify and capitalize on revenue opportunities by upselling and offering enhancements to create outstanding guest satisfaction
  • Plan and organize work schedules, manage sales-related information, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new business and referrals
  • Present sales presentations and materials to prospective clients, highlighting event space, dining options, and facility features
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of sales success and a strong understanding of the hospitality industry
  • High school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting sales targets
  • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities
  • Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required
