Position Overview

The Senior Account Executive for Strategic Partnerships will be tasked with spearheading and overseeing sales initiatives within the Lit Fiber business, focusing on multi-family residential (MDU), private communities, and commercial sectors. This role encompasses prospecting, qualifying leads, nurturing relationships, managing a sales pipeline, and successfully closing new business opportunities. Performance will be evaluated based on the achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets, reflecting organic growth for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly engage in closing sales and securing agreements with MDU proprietors, homeowners' associations (HOAs), developers, and small to medium-sized business owners, which may involve collaboration with property management firms, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee proposals, maintain communication with prospects and clients, and manage the flow of new business deals.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline regularly, assisting in the creation of sales forecasts.
  • Identify and develop new MDU opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, meetings, local engagements, presentations, and other innovative strategies.
  • Conduct territory research to pinpoint potential sales opportunities.
  • Secure easement rights for private roads or communities in collaboration with HOAs or builders, ensuring service availability for residents. Once secured, provide timely updates to customers regarding network construction and service availability.
  • Utilize established processes and collaborate with the VP of Strategic Initiatives & Commercial to obtain deal approvals based on financial assessments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across various sectors, guiding them through the sales process.
  • Work in conjunction with other departments, including engineering, project management, construction, field operations, and marketing.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Lit Fiber's service offerings and specifications.
  • Regularly share and present sales activity reports to the VP of Strategic Initiatives.
  • Conduct site evaluations and assess best practices for installations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating service proposals.
  • A bachelor's degree or relevant experience in the telecommunications or multi-family residential sectors is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while providing outstanding customer service and responsiveness.
  • Capability to maintain professionalism during negotiations or challenging situations.
  • Must possess a business-oriented mindset, be proactive, and work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Adaptability to changes in processes and priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the VP of Strategic Initiatives & Commercial

Employment Type: Full-time

Travel Requirements: Up to 25%
