  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers on seafood products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized seafood department, including cases, shelves, and floors.
  • Restock and rotate seafood products, ensuring that products are facing forward and at eye level.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including creating attractive displays and arranging products in an appealing manner.
  • Process customer transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in inventory management, including counting and reconciling inventory, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
